Since When?

I Had My Share Of Secret Weed Plants Growing In My Room Like Many Other Young People Did During Their Years Of Adolescence. But June 9th 2017 Is When I Began Growing On A Serious Level.
My 1st Serious Grow Was Outdoor From Clone.
Three Grows Later I Have Decided To Challenge Myself With An Indoor Grow From Seed.

My Current Grow: 06/28/19

Strain: Fire OG
Currently I have 12 plants in styrofoam cups with holes poked in the bottom for drainage.

Step One: Germinate Seeds

To Germinate My Seeds I Folded Them Into A Damp Paper towel & Placed It Into A Zip Locked Bag In A Dark Area For 5 days.

Doesn't Take That Long

The seeds did not need to germinate as long as they did. They're seeds were shed and their roots were breaking through the paper towel.  But made them very easy to plant.

Step Two: Plant In Soil

Too Soon For Mykos

I planted the seedlings in Miracle-Gro Garden Soil.
In that I'm not used to growing from seed I added a little Mykos Xtreme when I planted the seeds and I believe that caused the seedlings to burn out.

Step Three: WATER

I Water The Seedlings Everyday.
Initially I Sprayed Them A Couple Times With A Squirt Bottle To Moisten The Dirt. Now As Soon As They Sprout I Pour Enough Water To Drain Out Of The Cup.

11 Seedlings in 10 Cups

Seven Out Of The Original Eleven Seedlings Survived After 3 Days

After One - Three Days Of Germination The Seed Produces A Tap Root. You Can Plant A Seedling With A Tap Root Only A Couple Centimeters Long. I Planted This Seedling About One Inch Down & Lightly Covered It With Soil. Then Placed A Zip Lock Bag Over It To Lock In Moisture/ Create A Humid Environment.
I Zip lock the sides to lock in more moisture.

I Remove The Ziplock Bag Once The Seedling Breaks The Soil

I Planted 4 More Seedlings In Zip Lock Bags

I Removed The Bags From 3/4 Seedlings & Will Wait A Couple More Hours To Remove The 4th Bag.

Quick Germination Method

I Put 5 Seeds In Filtered Water For
24 Hours In A Dark Place.

After 24 Hours The Seeds Were Still Floating At The Top So I Tapped Them One By One With A Toothpick & They All Sank To The Bottom.
If Any Seed Had Not Sunk To The Bottom I Would Have Thrown It Out Assuming It Was No Good.

Next I Folded The 5 Seeds In A Damp Paper Towel & Stored Them In A Dark Area

After Another 48-72 Hours The Seeds Should Have Tap Roots & Be Ready To Plant Into Soil.

I Will Plant The Germinated Seeds In Cup Of Soil Then Put Them In
A Super Sprouter Dome Kit

I Hope You've Enjoyed My Journey So Far, Please Check Back Next Week For An Update.
